Focus Cloud Challenge Cup Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before registering for the Focus Cloud Challenge Cup 6-a-side tournament. By registering for the event, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
1. Registration and Fees
- All teams must register for the tournament by 26th August 2024.
- A registration fee of £1,000 per team is required and must be paid via GiveWheel by September 9th 2024 .
- The registration fee is a donation and is non-refundable, except in the case of event cancellation by the organizers.
2. Team Composition
- Each team must consist of a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 8 players.
- All players must be employees or direct associates of the registering corporation.
3. Code of Conduct
- All participants are expected to display good sportsmanship and respect towards other players, referees, organizers, and spectators.
- Any form of misconduct, including but not limited to abusive language, violent behavior, or cheating, will result in immediate disqualification of the team from the tournament.
4. Safety and Liability
- Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being during the tournament.
- The organizers are not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur during the event. It is recommended that all participants have personal health insurance.
- First aid assistance will be available on-site.
- Please ensure all participants have access to their own supply of water throughout the tournament.
5. Event Format and Rules
- The tournament format and match rules will be provided to all teams prior to the event.
- The organizers reserve the right to modify the format or rules as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the tournament.
- Referees' decisions are final and binding.
6. Use of Logo and Promotional Materials
- By participating, teams agree to allow the event organizers to use their corporate logos in promotional materials related to the tournament.
- Any promotional use of the event’s branding or logo by participating teams must be approved by the event organizers.
7. Fundraising and Donations
- All proceeds from the event, including registration fees and donations, will be split equally between Alzheimer's Research UK and TechSheCan.
- Teams are encouraged to participate in additional fundraising activities to support these charities.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
- Participants' personal information will be used solely for the purpose of organizing and managing the event.
- The organizers will not share personal information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
9. Event Cancellation or Postponement
- The organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to, extreme weather conditions or safety concerns.
- In the event of cancellation, teams will be notified as soon as possible, and registration fees will be refunded.
10. Agreement
- By registering for the tournament, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
