A fantastic position with loads of scope for making a huge difference and career progression and a key role for this business.  This client is a global business of over 150,000 employees who are in the first phase of deploying Workday HCM and they are looking someone to run the Workday Training team on a global basis. 

The role is remote based with occassional global travel and can be based anywhere globally but ideally in Europe.

The Global Head of Workday Training will lead the strategy, design, and execution of global training programs for Workday HR products (Core HCM, Recruiting & Onboarding, Compensation, Benefits, Talent & Performance, Learning, Absence & Time Tracking). This role ensures successful user adoption, continuous learning, and alignment with organizational goals, supporting a global workforce with diverse training needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement a global Workday training strategy aligned with HR and business objectives.
  • Program Development: Design and deliver scalable training solutions (eLearning, instructor-led, and job aids) for HR teams, managers, and employees.
  • Change Management & Adoption: Drive user adoption by integrating training with change management initiatives and tracking adoption metrics.
  • Global Oversight: Ensure consistent training delivery across regions, adapting content for local needs while maintaining global standards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, IT, and external Workday experts to align training with new product features and organizational needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Workday updates, evaluate training effectiveness, and incorporate feedback to improve programs.
  • Budget Management: Oversee training budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
Experience:
  • Experience: 10+ years in HR tech training or Learning & Development, with expertise in Workday HR modules.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, project management, and instructional design expertise.
