Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Workday Advanced Compensation Analyst. This role plays a crucial part in managing and optimizing the Workday Compensation processes while also providing support for HCM. The ideal candidate will work closely with HR Operations, Compensation, and IT teams to ensure smooth system functionality, implementation, and enhancements. This is a high-impact role requiring strong technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Workday Advanced Compensation & HCM Support: Lead system configurations, business processes, and integrations related to Workday Advanced Compensation, while also supporting HCM as needed.
- System Enhancements & Implementations: Drive system improvements, assist in rolling out Workday Learning and Performance modules, and prepare for the upcoming merit increase cycle in 2025.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical and business teams, translating system capabilities into business solutions and ensuring stakeholders understand system changes.
- Agile & Fast-Paced Problem Solving: Adapt quickly to changing business demands, troubleshoot issues, and find creative solutions to optimize Workday functionalities.
- Data Integrity & Reporting: Ensure data accuracy within Workday, perform regular audits, and develop reports and dashboards to support compensation decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork: Work closely with HR Operations and Compensation teams, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge-sharing and cross-functional backup are expected.
- Technical Expertise: Strong Workday Advanced Compensation experience with knowledge of multiple Workday modules. Hands-on experience with system configurations, EIBs, integrations, and security.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, troubleshoot system issues, and develop efficient solutions.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build strong relationships across teams.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and evolving business needs.
- Workday Certifications: Workday Compensation certification is a plus.
- Project Management Skills: Experience leading Workday-related projects, system implementations, and upgrades.
