Here at Focus Cloud we are supporting a fantastic Workday customer who are looking to hire a 'Workday HR Technology Director' on a full time permanent basis.
This organization is live with Workday and focused on optimizing their Workday functionality and driving adoption across the system. They are looking for a Strong Workday expert who can bring a blend of hands-on Workday skills and strategic leadership experience.
This is a senior level role where you will drive the HR tech roadmap but you will also roll your sleeves up to execute day-to-day work on occasion. You will lead a team of 3 direct reports and 2 external consultants so the right candidate will be comfortable working in the weeds, leading by example, and service as a technical coach and mentor to the team. Deep tactical Workday expertise is essential.
This is a hybrid role in Tustin, CA so we are ideally looking for candidates based in or around Orange County, CA.
Role Details:
🔸Role - Workday HR Technology Director
🔸Employer - large rental housing company in North America
🔸Type - permanent, full time
🔸Salary - up to $210,000 + 30% bonus
🔸Working model - ideally 3 days a week in Tustin, CA
🔸Location - Orange County, CA, U2
🔸Focus - drive the Workday roadmap as a strategic leader. Leverage strong hands-on Workday skills to design and configure complex requirements. Lead a team of 3 direct reports and 2 external consultants to support the system, serving as a technical mentor and coach to the team.
Requirements:
🔹10+ years in HR tech, including 4+ years of deep, hands-on Workday HCM configuration
🔹Strong hands-on HRIS experience
🔹Proven ability to lead and contribute in both strategic and tactical capacities
🔹People management experience with a coaching/mentorship mindset
🔹Relationship building, developing strong partnerships within HR and across the business
🔹Preference for this person to be OC local, 3x a week in the Tustin office
