Location: Remote – US or Canada (3-month contract with potential extension)

Role Overview:
The Workday Integrations Contractor will be responsible for leading the integration aspect of Workday projects, ensuring the smooth delivery of Workday HCM, Payroll, or Financials solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Workday Studio and integrations and will have a proven track record in delivering end-to-end Workday implementations.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Workday integrations for client implementations, including HCM, Payroll, and Financials solutions.
• Design and implement Workday integration solutions using Workday Studio.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to configure and troubleshoot integrations.
• Work with clients to gather integration requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
• Ensure all integration processes comply with Workday’s integration methodology and best practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on integration topics.
• Conduct and oversee testing of integration solutions.
• Ensure successful cutover and deployment of integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise.

 
Key Requirements:

• Certified Workday Integration Specialist (SI) certification is a must.
• Strong experience with Workday Studio, with the ability to build and manage complex integrations.
• Proven experience in Workday HCM, Payroll, or Financials integration implementations.
• Completed 3+ End-to-End Workday implementations (HCM & Payroll or Financials).
• Deep understanding of Workday Integration methodologies and best practices.
• Strong experience in integration testing, troubleshooting, and solution optimization.
• Demonstrable experience working in client-facing roles, with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex integration scenarios.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

 
Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs) and Workday Web Services.
• Experience with Enterprise Application Integrations and third-party systems.
• Strong experience working with Workday Data Transformation tools (EIB, Workday Studio).
• Knowledge of data security and compliance within Workday integration context.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
