Salary: CAD 115,000 - 130,000 Base + Up to 24% Bonus & Benefits

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Workday SME to join our team, focusing on the key Workday modules: Recruiting, Talent & Performance, and Learning. In this role, you will work closely with HR and Systems teams to ensure effective implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the Workday system, specifically in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, and learning development. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility with 4 days of remote work per week, and you will be based in Toronto.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Workday Recruiting, Talent & Performance, and Workday Learning modules.
  • Lead and support the design, configuration, and implementation of new features or processes within Workday.
  • Support across other modules such as Core HCM, Compensation and Absence
  • Provide expert guidance on Workday functionality, best practices, and how they align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements to ensure system effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvements in Workday processes and functionality, ensuring that HR and recruitment teams leverage Workday to its full potential.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, HR teams, and IT, translating business requirements into actionable Workday configurations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they understand system functionality and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with Workday updates, new features, and industry best practices, ensuring the organization remains ahead of the curve.
  • Maintain strong documentation for Workday configurations, processes, and user guides.
Key Requirements
  • Extensive experience (minimum 3-5 years) working with Workday Recruiting, Talent & Performance, and Learning modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday functionality, configuration, and integration within HR systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a track record of resolving system issues efficiently.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into system configurations and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Workday certification in relevant modules (Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Learning) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Workday Security, reporting, and integrations is a plus.
